The best thing about this address is that you can have the lively side of Kos whenever you want it, and none of it when you don't.
ŌNAR sits in open fields and olive groves between the hills and the coast road. In front of you the land falls away towards the sea, so the sunrise arrives over the water and the seafront below is a good place for a morning walk, a run or a swim before breakfast.
Kardamena itself is four minutes by car along the seafront, or a twenty-five minute walk. It has everything you need for a holiday — tavernas, cafés, bars, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, shops and the harbour where the boats leave for Nisyros and the smaller beaches.
Come home at the end of the evening and the noise simply stops. With only three houses on the property and open country around it, the loudest thing at night is usually the crickets.

Getting here
Nine kilometres
from the plane.
Kos International Airport is the closest airport to ŌNAR — not the other way around, as it is for most of the island.
It is roughly a fifteen-minute drive. Airport transfers can be arranged for you in advance, and car hire can be waiting at the villa when you arrive. A car is not essential — you can walk into Kardamena — but it makes the rest of Kos easy.
Kalymnos airport is 33 km away and Leros 72 km, but almost every guest arrives through Kos.
